This painting is based off my sculpture reborn, which is a 12 foot tall stainless steel woolly mammoth that was commissioned by Burning Man for the 2025 event. I chose the Mammoth sculpture because the theme for Burning Man was about future tech. There are scientist working on bring back the woolly mammoth and planning to have a live specimen in the next few years. With the help of science, we can bring the ancient past with us into the future. This is the first of many paintings I have in mind. I plan on doing a painting of each of my big sculptures and releasing them as prints throughout the years to come.
